This model belongs to the square shaped air filter cartridges and is also called square air filter element. The outer protective metal mesh is with rhombic cells, the end covers are square rubber. Mainly used for filtering the intake air of construction equipment, air compressors, generator sets and heavy vehicles.
🧱 Analysis of the design
1.Top and bottom black rubber sealing end caps. Square rubber caps with built-in sealing groove; after installation and pressing, a seal is provided that prevents the bypass of untreated air through the cracks into the equipment.
2. External protective metal mesh with rhombic cells. The expanded metal mesh protects the inner filter paper and prevents it from being hit or damaged by air flow.
3. Main part: folded wood pulp filter paper. High density folded filter paper; the material is made from wood cellulose fibers; the porous structure traps dust and grains of sand in the air. The filter paper contains white reinforcing tapes that prevent deformation and fold opening at high air flow rates.
