Common round air filter cartridge made of filter paper belongs to the filter elements for purifying the intake air of the main unit (disposable air filter elements). Different from polyester dust collecting filter cartridges. Mainly used for filtering the inlet air of air compressors, generator sets and construction equipment. Not subject to pulse backflushing.
🧱 Analysis of the design
1.Top and bottom end caps with metal edging + rubber O-ring. Top steel flange with black rubber O-ring; Once installed in the air filter housing, it is pressed to seal and prevent unfiltered air from entering directly into the main unit; at the bottom there is a closed metal edging.
2. Internal and external metal protective mesh with rhombic cells. The outer mesh protects the filter paper and prevents it from being damaged by hard objects; The internal mesh supports the filter paper, so that even with high air flow and vacuum, the paper does not wrinkle.
3.Filter paper made from wood cellulose (main filter layer). Folded filter paper made from wood pulp is used; The folded structure increases the filtration area and traps sand and dust. Options available: regular filter paper or triple impregnated paper (water, oil and dust protection). Airflow direction: from outside to inside; air enters from the outside of the cartridge, after filtration, exits through the central hole and is supplied to the equipment.

💡 Key points of operation
1. Refers to disposable filter elements, pulse purge is not allowed; If the maximum pressure drop is exceeded or the maintenance schedule is reached, the filter is replaced immediately.
2. During installation, the rubber O-ring must be intact and pressed tightly; If air leaks, dust will lead to abrasive wear of the main unit.
3. In humid environment and low oil mist, it is preferable to choose the version with triple protection filter paper.
